Abstract
Hanna argues that Neilsonâs âvisionâ is a fusion of a primitive faith in nature and the christian belief in the Son of God. This fusion troubled Neilson, however, because his idea of the divine was fettered to the will of time. Hanna demonstrates this spiritual conflict by exploring the problems of God, Love and Time in Neilsonâs poetry.
