Abstract

The article presents data on the contemporary distribution of a species alien to the fish fauna of Armenia—topmouth gudgeon Pseudorasbora parva (Temminck et Schlegel, 1846) (Actinopterygii: Cyprinidae)—within the country. It is found that this species has inhabited almost all the water bodies of the central and northern parts of Armenia and is now one of the abundant fish species in these water bodies.
