Abstract
Considerations are presented which indicate that procedures now exist which make it possible to obtain accurate information on the distribution of neutrons in nuclei. However, these procedures make considerable simplifications in their approach to the many-body problem and hence verification of their predictions through direct high energy experiments is urgently required.
