Abstract

This study presents a calculation that relates the temporal change in the total energy of a magnetic system (as permalloy thin sheets that have a considerable damping in the change of the magnetization described in Salazar & Pérez Alcazar, 2015) with the dissipative function proposed for this system in Salazar & Pérez Alcazar (2015). In the present study, we obtain a negative sign for dE/dt and its relationship with the tensor dissipative function that correctly explains the rate of dissipation of energy in the system. Further, a relationship between the coefficients of the expansion of αik (kinetic coefficient) and the square of the applied magnetic field is obtained.
