Abstract

Multipoint approximation models are an alternative to models with distributed parameters. They more focused on solving practical problems. To obtain the transfer functions of multipoint linear models, one can use the method of signal graphs. However, studies have shown that this method does not always prove to be practically applicable without additional simplifications. In this paper, it proposed to apply the discrete-continuous Laplace transform method. The development of the method was carried out using the example of the radiation tube heat exchanger of the boiler. The transfer functions of all channels for an arbitrary order of the model obtained. The frequency characteristics of the multipoint models and the characteristics of the model with distributed parameters compared. Recommendations given for the choice of the minimum permissible order, depending on the type of input action.
