Abstract

A novel control algorithm is proposed for a hypersonic vehicle (HV) based on discrete sliding mode control and parameterization. Unlike traditional sliding mode control of the HV, which requires the use of input and output feedback linearization to decouple the nonlinear system, the discrete sliding mode control law is designed on the basis of a linear structure model. The switching function is firstly designed, and then the control law is designed according to the exponential reaching rate. In addition, the adaptive law and the power function are introduced to suppress the chattering of the closed-loop system. Comparison of simulation results verifies the feasibility of the method.
