Abstract

The disappearance rate of injected thyrotrophic hormone (T. S. H.) from the bloodstream of rabbits was described in 1934 by Loeser. In this paper the conclusion was reached that after thyroidectomy the injected hormone remained in the peripheral blood for a longer period. Although Loeser's paper is of great interest, it is rather unsatisfactory in some respects.
