Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the direct impact of citizens of the European community on reducing dependence on Russian energy resources in the European Union. For this purpose, an analysis was made of the direct impact of EU citizens in reducing media imported from Russia. Next, the possibility of direct action by citizens and the EU, which can influence the reduction of imported energy carriers from Russia, is analyzed on the example of energy consumption in households and passenger transport
