Abstract
The article examines the changing participation of Latin American countries in global supply chains which are under the influence of digital transformation. The author considers options for global value chains modifications due to the spread of digital technologies, describes the current involvement of Latin American countries in global supply chains, and analyses the development of digital economy in the region. Basing on the collected data, the author makes a conclusion about expectable changes in the regional countries’ engagement in global value chains.
