AbstractThe advanced technology of the early 21st century – digital fabrication, robots and global virtual connections – is giving us the opportunity to re‐evaluate our modes and locations for industrial production. Equally these notions can enhance our ability to tackle climate change. Vicente Guallart, co‐founder and former Director of the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and principal of Guallart Architects, explains why.
