Abstract

The paper will discuss the Design Build as a potential model of interdisciplinary research and show how digital design and fabrication methods that become more affordable and available might open up new possibilities to connect academia with practice. The paper will use the AIA pavilion, a Digital Design Build Studio that were taught during the Fall semester of 2010 as case study.
