Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the difficulties facing English language teachers and their relationship to the job performance of teachers in the upper basic stage in the Qasbah Amman Education Directorate from the teachers’ point of view themselves. The study population consisted of (450) teachers of the English language, and the study sample consisted of (65) teachers of English language in the Directorate of Education of the Qasbah Amman, and the results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant difference (α = 0.05). ) between the arithmetic mean for the total degree of the problems facing the teachers of the basic stage of the English language subject and the hypothetical mean for it and for the benefit of the study sample members.
