Summary

Introduction

The tendency of aggressive behavior among students is a common phenomenon throughout the world. The main focus of this study is to consider why they behave like this This kind of violence has become a serious social problem in Pakistan. The verbal aggression can include verbally threatening and intimidating others. A previous study revealed that there are several factors that contribute to aggression including social, cultural, psychological, economical and educational. Each of these factors affects our behavior in covert or overt ways (Mushtaq and Kayani, 2013). It has been argued that if children in dysfunctional families grow up in cohesive societies they have a greater likelihood to be able to defend against negative experiences. On the other hand researchers said that in reality, the inclination of aggressive behavior in girls is equal to boys as well (Sivarajasingam, Morgan, Shephered and Matthews, 2009; Najman et al, 2009)
