Abstract
The curiosity of Europe during the European Crusades was driven to explore the scientific, political and Renaissance East, with the logic of binaries as a rooted element in Western philosophy, considering that the entire universe is built on two opposing, conflicting sides, just like the relationship between man and nature in Greek thought, where man is the centre and nature is the object of this centre, the ego.
