Abstract
Adult growth hormone deficiency (AGHD) is a syndrome with a wide spectrum of clinical presentations,such as impairment in body composition,abnormality in glucose,lipid,and bone metabolism,increasing risks of cardiovascular disease and fracture,as well as decreased quality of life and so on.The diagnosis of AGHD is based on the correct identification of baseline characteristics and definite biochemical tests of growth hormone(GH) provocative tests.Recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) replacement therapy will improve body composition,abnormalities of metabolism,decrease cardiovascular risk factors,and enhance the quality of life.
