Abstract

Objectives To explore the features and tr eatment measures of the severe pulmonary infection (SPI) in kidney transplan tation patients. Method The clinical data of 25 patients with SPI follow ing kidney transplantation were retrospectively analyzed. Result Twenty-two cases out of the 25 SPI patients (88? %) was rescued successfully. Conclusions Intensive care and active measures should be given to the SPI patients after kidney transplantation. The key points of succes sful treatment involve the in time application of abundant, extended-spectrum a nd combined antibiotics, the adjustment of immunosuppressant and the correction of hypoproteinemia.
