Abstract
Locating and identifying human targets in a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image is important but challenging for security and rescue applications. In this paper, we present an overview on the development of vital-SAR-imaging method with frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar system to realize targets imaging and human identification simultaneously. The experimental results conducted to demonstrate the accuracy and robustness of the method will be discussed in detail.
