Abstract
Sealing is the key technique for planar solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). Only several sealants and sealing methods could be used for SOFC due to the extreme work conditions. Several kinds of sealants and sealing methods were summarized in this paper which emphasized glass sealing, compress sealing and composite sealing. Compositions, preparations and usages were described in the article which also gave the information of development and future direction of sealing for SOFC.
