Abstract

Education has a strategic role in establishing formidable human resources to face the global free competition, including one in the vocational schools. The standard indicators to improve the education are competencies, contents, processes, educators, facilities, management, financing, assessment and National Exam Scores. This study was conducted to determine the interaction among the standard indicators of learning process for Referral Vocational Schools in Indonesia in order to improve the quality of learning process. The path and regression analysis are needed in conducting the research. The path analysis shows three direct effects between processes, assessment and competencies against National Exam Scores. Whereas, there are indirect effects between processes and assessment against National Exam Scores via competencies. Besides that, the regression analysis with the help of Minitab 16 shows that the contents and management criteria are affected by the processes criteria, while the educators, facilities and management are affected by the assessment criteria. And it can be concluded that the indicators of the learning process quality are the standard quality of lesson planning, standard of implementation of learning and standards of monitoring and evaluation.
