Abstract

To meet the domestic demand of software autonomous scheduling, the development of the Module In-vessel Damage severe accident Analysis Code MIDAC is on the agenda. MIDAC can analyze the processes of in-vessel severe accident thoroughly, and provide the relevant analyzing result of each course accurately. The MIDAC-OX code is an oxidation calculating program module for MIDAC. In this paper, the basic mathematic-physical models of MIDAC-OX are briefly introduced. After that, primary parameters of MIDAC-OX code are set. Then, this paper calculates the hydrogen generation, temperature and other responses of fuel rod in AP1000 as an example. The validity of MIDAC-OX is validated in partial comparison with some other experiment and theoretical results.
