Abstract
This document explains the concept of new energy and the significance of its development and utilization, then it discusses the characteristics, energy conversion form, application methods and efficiency of solar, wind, biomass, geothermal and ocean energy, lastly, it puts forward some suggestions on how to develop new energy.
