Abstract

AbstractA brief re view of mass spectrometry is given with special emphasis on the use of double focusing mass spectrometers. Recent work on the determination of precise atomic masses is discussed. A Table showing the comparison between the 1953 International Table of Atomic Weights and atomic weights calculated from physical measurements alone is provided.
