Abstract

Infra-red spectra have been obtained from small areas of tissue sections by the use of areflecting microscop in conjunction with an infra-red spectrometer. Absorption bands characteristic of both types of nucleic acid are obsered. The possibility of using these absortions for their separate detetion and estimation is discussesd.
