Abstract
Ammonium Mercuri thio and selenocyanates in the presence of a zinc salt, have been tried as reagents for cobalt, copper and nickel. Centrifuging the precipitate produced in a capillary enables 0,001γ cobalt or copper and 0,002γ nickel to be recognised at high dilutions. Applications of the method are suggested.
