Abstract

It is advisable to use a regulated electric drive having significant multiple supported moment (10: 1 and higher) in the power-limited regime in diesel-electric tractors under difficult working conditions. An electric drive with a field regulated reluctance machine can provide such overloads. It remains necessary to create and tune the control system using the electric drive. This article considers the nature of the feedback systems of electric drive control system, and a structure is selected, regulators are created, recommendations are formulated for tuning them in a wide range of variation of the electric drive parameters, and the quality characteristics of processes are determined for an electric drive under standard operations. Simulation was performed using a simplified model of the electric drive system in the Matlab software package.
