Abstract

We live in an unprecedented time in human history, in which more girls than ever before have access to the public sphere, and the ability to make their voices heard and to display their creativity online with less filtering or monitoring. These recorded exchanges are an opportunity to identify, document and expose, in real time, the values, concepts and mechanisms involved in shaping identities, communities and ideologies among girls.
