Abstract
In order to protect cultural relics in the museum, a micro-environment is designed to monitor the humidity, temperature, gaseous pollutants. With the wireless communication module, all the micro-environment monitors in the museum can make up a wireless network system, which monitors the preservation condition of the cultural relics in real time. The micro-environment monitor consists of AMCs(airborne molecular contaminants) monitoring module, humidity and temperature monitoring module, MCU(micro-controller unit), wireless communication module and so on. In the whole project, the design of QCM gas sensor and the frequency measurement are of great importance, for the concentration changes of AMCs is quite small and the request of measuring accuracy is very high. The QCM gas sensor employs the AT-cut quartz crystal with electrodes as the substrate with the AMCs recognized polymer film deposited on electrode surface. This QCM gas sensor owns great performance such as high-selectivity, high-sensitivity and simplicity. In this paper, the structure of the micro-environment monitoring system is presented and the hardware and software of the monitor are demonstrated in detail.
