Abstract

Various organic substances that are required by plant growth are synthesized by photosynthesis. The intensity of illumination is too strong or too weak will let the photosynthesis be suppressed. This paper describes the design of a greenhouse control system, which use single chip as the core of the control system and digital light sensor (BH1750FVI) to detect the light intensity inside and outside the greenhouse. The system can control light intensity and light time of the greenhouse. The system has two kinds of working modes, e.g. automatic and manual. In the automatic mode, according to the indoor and outdoor light intensity and crop species to control the condition of fill-in light and shading film, making the greenhouse light intensity and light time remained within an appropriate range automatically. In manual mode, the light shading film state control and lighting systems control are required people to operate. Experiments show that the system can compensate some defects such as manual control error and low efficiency. It has the advantages of simple operation and strong practicability.
