Abstract

A C-band cross-coupled bandpass microstrip filter using square open-loop resonators is designed and fabricated. This filter gives much improved skirt selectivity. Aggressive space mapping (ASM) technique is applied in the design of this microstrip filter, resulting in the significant reduction of the computation time. The difference between the specifications and the initial design's results has been investigated. Under the guidance of this investigation, the design parameters are modified to satisfy the specifications.
