Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of a wireless temperature monitoring and alarm system that can be used for diagnostic purposes in scientific, medical, and industrial applications. The proposed system is designed for easy installation and no gateway required, so it could be use at any location to gather temperature data. The proposed system comprises of a wireless temperature network which is low cost and low power. Each wireless temperature sensor node senses and transmits the variations in the local temperature to the cloud database. The cloud server receives the data and stores it in the table and plotting the variations simultaneously. The user web interface provides graphical data analysis. The web of low-power wireless temperature monitoring and alarm system allows the temperature variations to be viewed and the alarm controlled whenever user want from anywhere in the world. Also, when the large temperature variations occur, system will immediately run alarm which is 90 dB and send a message to user. It is expected that the proposed system will be more useful in biomedical, agricultural and medical areas where the products are sensitive to high temperature or low temperature.
