Abstract

The development and application of telematics has led to more automated systems of environmental control. Nowadays, telematics provide new capabilities such as access to databases of distributed spatial information, and the processing of primary data and results at any distance from the rapidly transmitted information[1]. Environmental Information System (EIS) based on modern computer technology and commuication technology which service to environmental information management, can realize many functions including environmental information collection, transmission, storage, processing, maintenance and utilization of services.The system architecture design, databasedesign and function design of EIS based on data visualization specially is introduced in this paper.
