Abstract

The research and application of projection interactive system based on different application scenarios has been a great development. In order to achieve natural and friendly interaction with the scene and to improve user experience, a camera-projection interactive system based on binocular vision is designed and implemented in this paper. Firstly, a foreground segmentation for moving objects is achieved by using a new detection method of moving targets based on ViBe integrated with a kind of shadow removal algorithm. Secondly, a template feature extraction method is proposed with the characteristics of the tiptoe at the forefront when a man stand. Target recognition is realized by using Bayes classifier based on Minimum Classification Error (MCE) with these template features. Thirdly, a mapping method of target's position in the captured image mapped to the corresponding position of mouse pointer on PC screen is designed. A method of toe action recognition is proposed based on the principle of distance measurement of binocular stereo vision. Finally, the experiment results and the effectiveness of the interactive system demonstrate that the system is working well.
