Abstract

For the construction safety monitoring problem that the urban rail transit crosses existing lines or important buildings(structures), two sets of automatic deformation safety monitoring systems are designed and developed. And they are both applied to a station project of Changsha Metro Line 4 passing through the existing Metro Line 2. The result of field practice shows that systems are reliable in operation, and accurate in measurement data. And the monitoring data from this two sets of system are consistent. So it can ensure the smooth progress and safety of the project construction.
