Abstract

The measurement of the registration-temperature effect on track response of CR-39 plastic has been made in vacuum over a wide temperature range. The result is almost the same as that of Thompson and co-workers (1982), which was obtained in dry-air environment. Also, it is found that the fractional change of track response for alpha-particles per unit registration temperature is smaller than that for higher LET particles.
