Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of use of electronic media in the educational process and the challenges in using it in secondary schools in East Jerusalem from the point of view of teachers. To verify the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method by constructing a questionnaire consisting of (19) items. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (402) male and female teachers, from the study population consisting of (1564) male and female teachers. The results of the study concluded that the degree of use of electronic communication means in the educational process was moderate, with the overall tool obtaining a mean of (3.37). Likewise, the degree of challenges in using them in secondary schools in East Jerusalem from the point of view of teachers was moderate, with the overall tool obtaining an average of (3.37). The arithmetic mean was (3.22), and there were no statistically significant differences attributed to the gender variable, and there were statistically significant differences attributed to the immersion variable in favor of teachers who were less than 30 years old
