Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing leadership skills among preparatory school principals within the Green Line and its relationship to empowering teachers in distance learning. The study used the correlational descriptive methodology, and the questionnaire for collecting data after confirming its validity and reliability. The study sample consisted of (364) teachers, who were selected using simple random sampling method. The results showed that the degree of practicing leadership skills among preparatory school principals within the Green Line was high, and that the level of teachers’ empowerment in distance learning was high, and the existence of a positive correlation between practicing leadership skills and empowering teachers. The study recommended consolidating the concept of teacher empowerment among school principals, in all circumstances, not just in emergencies such as distance learning.
