Abstract

The pollution status of new organic pollutants is becoming increasingly serious. Advanced oxidation method (AOPs) has become a research hotspot in the field of new organic pollutants treatment in recent years because it has high efficiency, simplicity, and green characteristics. And it has attracted wide attention in related fields. Traditional sewage treatment plants can not effectively remove new organic pollutants, which cause great harm to the ecological environment. Therefore, in order to effectively remove such pollutants, the new advanced oxidation method is becoming more widely used. By summarizing the current situation of new organic pollutants pollution and its harm, the current new advanced oxidation method and coupling other technologies of different processes of the removal efficiency, degradation mechanism, and degradation factors, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various technologies, this paper puts forward the scope of application of the technology and provides technical reference for degradation industrial wastewater treatment. In the future, experts should focus on advanced oxidation methods by coupling other techniques.
