Abstract
Measurements are described which confirm and enlarge upon earlier reults on the decays of the isotopes Pm 143, Pm 144 and Pm 146. The ground state half-lives were found to be Pm 143 265±10 d, Pm 144 377±16 d and Pm 146 1600±80 d. An additional period of about 60 d was discovered in the Pm 144 source. Attemps to detect half-lives of some excited states revealed that these were less than 2 × 10 −10 sec.
