Abstract

The 6 min positon activity induced in tin by 20 MeV alpha-particle bombardment has been studied. Its identification as Te 115 has been confirmed. Studies of its radiations by means of scintillation spectroscopy have led to energy and intensity measurements of eight nuclear gamma-radiations and determination of the maximum positon energy of 2800 keV. Coincidence studies have assisted construction of a tentative decay scheme.
