Abstract
We have studied the decay Ds → ρπ in the factorization of the hadron currents approximation. The technique and the method was applied and tested in the past for the calculation of several two-body decays of heavy mesons. The branching ratio for Ds → ρπ, which can only occur via the flavor annihilation process, is estimated and found to be in agreement with recent data from ARGUS.
