Abstract
Last year, we announced that we were taking bold steps in elevating research for the interventional cardiology community with the formation of the Scientific Output Committee and the launch of our new official journal, the Journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (JSCAI). JSCAI began accepting manuscripts this past fall, and I formally welcome you to our first issue! With the establishment of a SCAI-owned journal, we are making way for the Society to provide the latest information in clinical research, first-in-human studies, and original research on coronary and complex coronary heart disease and treatment, congenital heart disease, adult congenital heart disease, structural and valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, and imaging and physiology.
