Abstract
Cet article propose un compte-rendu des donnees archeologiques concernant l'habitat philistin des sites de Tell el-Far⊂ah et de Megiddo, puis compare ces donnees aux textes relatifs a l'histoire des Philistins (inscriptions et reliefs de Medinet Habou, conte de Ouenamon et references bibliques). L'interet de cette etude est double puisqu'elle permet de connaitre a la fois la date de la fin de la domination de l'Egypte dans le sud de Canaan et la date de l'installation des Philistins en Canaan
