Abstract

The article is devoted to the goals and objectives of the national development of the concept of professional library education, reflecting the reform on the basic ideas of library and information education. It proposes priority solutions to support legal fields in libraries of the country. It highlights prospective directions to organize the system of professional training of library staff. From this analysis and international experience the author express the need for international norms and standardization of professional library and information education.
