Abstract
The issue related to the status of the consumer and the supplier in the contracts concluded with the consumers of energy resources is approached both through the prism of the European Directives on contracting and the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova. In the process of analyzing these institutions, a series of legislative deficiencies were highlighted, with proposals for lege ferenda being submitted.
