Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of IPC in prevention of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in the lower limbs of orthopedics and explore the effective nursing measures. Methods 125 orthopedics patients were randomly divided into two groups, the control group (n=60) treated with conventional nursing, observation group (n=65) treated with IPC and pertinence nursing on the based of conventional nursing.The incidence of DVT and lower limb swelling and pain and other clinical symptoms in two groups were compared 2 weeks after operation. Results The incidence rate of DVT (18.5%) and moderate DVT (4.6%) in the observation group were significantly lower than those of control group (33.3% and 20%, P<0.05). The incidence rate of lower limb swelling and pain in observation group was lower than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of IPC could reduce the incidence rate of DVT in the lower limbs of orthopedics, and remiss the clinical symptoms.It has a significant effect, which is worth the clinical promoted application.
