Abstract

Objective To analyze the curative effect of acyclovir combined with infantile feirekechuan oral liquid in the treatment of infants with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia. Methods From October 2012 to September 2015, 90 children with respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia were selected as research subjects in our hospital and they were divided into two groups randomly. The observation group was treated with acyclovir combined with infantile feirekechuan oral liquid and the control group was treated with acyclovir. The clinical effect was compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 93.33%, which was significantly higher than that (84.44%) of the control group (P 0.05) and there was significant difference in the levels of CD4+ , CD8+ , IL-2 in the same group before and after treatment, but there was no significant difference between two groups after treatment (P>0.05). In addition, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions The curative effect of acyclovir combined with infantile feirekechuan oral liquid for respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia was significant, which is worthy of promotion. Key words: Acyclovir; Infantile feirekechuan oral liquid; Respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia
