Abstract
Des les annees qui suivent la fondation de l'Etat d'Israel, un conflit s'engage a propos des lieux saints qui deviennent un enjeu pour gagner la sympathie internationale. Le ministere des affaires etrangeres israelien a constamment controle les actions du Departement des affaires musulmanes dans ce domaine. La politique israelienne a globalement reussi puisqu'il s'agissait de faciliter l'acceptation du nouvel Etat dans la communaute internationale des nations. Neanmoins, le Departement des affaires musulmanes a commis de nombreuses bevues dans la protection des lieux saints musulmans et chretiens
