Abstract

Powder diffraction data obtained with filtered CuK alpha radiation in a cylindrical camera are given. The pattern of LrHF/sub 2/ was indexed on the basis of the F5/sub 1/ structure. The method for preparing the sample is described, and the sample as prepared contarned approximately 10 wt% LiF, which served as a useful internal standard for film calibration and intensity comparisons. Data are given for both the hexagonal and rhombohedral unit cell structures. (N.W.R.)
