Abstract

It was found that the temperature dependence of LEED intensity in Ni(100) has a pronounced peak at TC. It was shown, that this peculiarity is due to critical fluctuations of the atomic magnetic moments. The theoretical and experimental intensities, which point to the critical magnetic scattering of electrons near TC, are compared.
