Abstract

The critical durations of spatial-frequency-dependent visible persistence in specific-reading-disabled and normal readers were investigated. For each group, two regression lines were fitted to the first and second components of visible persistence using the method of least squares. The point of intersection between these two slopes was taken as an index of the duration of Component 1 persistence. The two groups did not differ on this component, but they did differ on Component 2.
